Good beach for a family day in SF Bay Area?

I’m in Vallejo (North/East Bay). I want to take about 20-40 family members to a nice beach Sat Aug 30. Where is your favorite/best pick?

I’m familiar with several, but I usually just go with my husband. I’d like your thoughts ’cause I’ll be dragging my family there and want to make sure it’s super fun.
All are great suggestions. I’m researching them all. Thank you very much, all three are good advice!

Are there any good DINERS in or around Benicia, CA?

Thanks for the previous response, but I don’t think I was very clear on my question. My apologies. I am actually looking to rent, not purchase. So when I was asking about places to stay, I was more meaning basement apartments, duplexes, apartment complexes, and the such like. Also, where exactly were you meaning when you said to avoid the crest and the south side? Which roads do these begin at? I’m not gonna lie- I’m not all that informed on the area. Thanks again for your help.
